When planning your intimate wedding, you’ll want to choose an Oahu wedding venue with charm, natural beauty, and all the details to allow you a wonderful wedding day.
Small weddings are part of why so many couples choose Hawaii. It allows you to invite family and friends who are most important, and to share an unforgettable memory with those closest to you.
Here are some of my favorite intimate wedding venues.
Male’ana Gardens – A Lush and Beautiful Wedding Venue in Kailua
If you’re looking for a lush, well-manicured, and beautiful wedding venue on Oahu, I suggest you start with Male’ana Gardens. Although it is only open from April to mid-November, this is truly a beautiful place for your wedding.
The layout is perfect, with an area for the ceremony, a gazebo for the reception dinner, and plenty of space for cocktail hour or a small luau. They can also recommend some of the best wedding officiants, photographers, musicians, bartenders, and caterers.
Kaimea Estates – The Perfect Wedding Venue for a Small Group
Similar to Male’ana Gardens, Kaimea Estates has everything you need for a perfect Oahu wedding. The beautiful oceanfront wedding venue has space for your guests to enjoy cocktail hour, a large ceremony spot, and indoor dining. It’s a wonderful site to get married, and it’s close to Waikiki.
The Point at Paradise Cove – The Most Scenic Small Wedding Venue
If you’re looking for an oceanfront venue with incredible Hawaii ocean views, Paradise Cove has a few options, and The Point is my favorite for an intimate wedding. Unfortunately, the future of the venue is up in the air (as of the time of writing) due to the possible development of the property. If your wedding is in 2025, you should consider having your wedding here.
Waialua Valley Farms – An Incredibly Secluded Wedding Venue
Located on Oahu’s North Shore, Waialua Valley Farms is an excellent spot for a small ceremony and an intimate dinner for you and your guests. Celebrate your perfect day with gorgeous views at one of the most secluded Oahu venues.
Haiku Gardens – Iconic Wedding Venue on Oahu
Haiku Gardens is a classic location located in Kaneohe. You have to think a little outside the box for this wedding venue. Think ceremony at 10:00 with a lunch to follow. In my opinion, it’s a great way to hold your Hawaii destination wedding.
Honorable Mentions – Venues that Could Be for Small Weddings
Loulu Palms – One of my favorite Oahu wedding venues, especially if your group is a little too big for the others on this list.
Kailani Chapel – Ideal for those seeking stunning views and a covered, air-conditioned wedding venue.
Lanikuhonua – Another one of my favorites, but Lanikuhonua is often seen as a larger space. However, it’s possible to have your small, intimate wedding there.
