There are so many amazing Oahu wedding venues. I tend to like the private, comfortable wedding venues that are great for adding drone footage to your wedding video, such as Paradise Cove Ocean Gardens, Paliku Gardens, Ko'olau Ballrooms, and the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club.
What are your favorite Oahu wedding venues?

Do you have vendor recommendations?
Yes, please tag me if you post your wedding videos on Instagram (@bishopmediaproductions). For Instagram, I recommend 1080p. Instagram is known to compress 4k footage, making it look pixelated.
We want to post our wedding on social media. Is that okay?
I try to get your wedding videos to you within six weeks. My goal is always four weeks; that is usually when you should expect your videos.
How long does it take for us to get our wedding videos?
I use at least two cameras for the ceremony video; I prefer three or four if the location allows it.
How many cameras do you use for the ceremony video?
Yes, all wedding video footage is shot in 4k.
Do you shoot in 4k?
Yes, I have insurance with coverage up to two million dollars, which is more than most venues require. I can provide a certificate of insurance to the venue.
Do you have insurance (my venue is asking)?
Yes, I have my Part 107 drone license issued by the FAA.
Do you have your commercial drone license?
Yes! I believe drone footage adds a special touch to your wedding videos. Drone clips of your wedding venue show the full beauty of the area, and if your venue allows drones on the property, those will undoubtedly be some of your favorite shots. For your Hawaii wedding video, you probably want drone footage included.
Is it worth it to include drone footage in my wedding videos?
Me! I’m Tom Bishop, and I shoot every wedding booked through my website. For larger weddings, I like to use a second shooter to help capture more of the day. Learn more about me. :)
Who shoots my wedding?
To secure the date, I require a small deposit. The remaining balance is due seven days prior to your ceremony. Start by filling out a contact form to share the details of your date and check availability.
How do I secure you as our wedding videographer?
Yes, to some extent, packages can be customized. I realize not all weddings fit into a perfect timeframe, and often the getting ready shots, ceremony location, and reception location can be quite far apart. Sometimes a custom quote is best.
