Having your wedding at the Four Seasons on Oahu is no doubt one of the most amazing wedding venue experiences in Hawaii.
Located on Oahu’s West Side (Google Map), the Four Seasons sits perfectly situated around natural beauty and the convenience of Ko’olina’s shops, restaurants, and hotels, and it’s very close to Lanikuhonua and Paradise Cove, two popular Oahu wedding venues.
What I Like about a Wedding at the Four Seasons Resort on Oahu
With so many great Oahu wedding venues to choose from, why should you consider the Four Seasons? A few reasons would be their variety of ceremony locations, including two outdoor lawns and a chapel option.
The resort itself has incredible advantages, such as a short walk to the beach and rocks for photos. It’s a world-class resort for you and your guests to stay at. It’s also near the Aulani Disney Resort for guests with children, and it’s located in Ko’olina, a resort area much quieter than Waikiki.
My favorite is the lawn, a huge area with enough space to hold your ceremony in one spot and the reception in another. There’s also room for yard games, a bar, and other wedding-day goodies.
What You Might Not Like about the Four Seasons for Your Wedding
While I believe the pros of having your wedding at the Four Seasons Oahu far outweigh the cons, there are a few negatives to mention.
First, the lawn area is directly in front of the adult-only swimming pool, so you may feel some pool guests are watching you get married. I don’t think you or your guests will pay much attention to this, but it is something to consider.
Another possible negative is the distance from Waikiki. Although many would consider that a positive, it is worth noting that it’s approximately a 40-minute drive from Waikiki without traffic, so you’ll need to plan accordingly if you or your guests are staying outside of the Ko’olina area (I recommend providing bus transportation if so).
Conclusion
A wedding at the Four Seasons Resort on Oahu would be truly unforgettable. With a prime location near the ocean and a chapel and lawn ceremony location, you’ll easily find the perfect Oahu wedding venue for you.
