Check out your free timeline generator for Pālikū Gardens weddings.
These are the most common ceremony times that actually work at Pālikū Gardens. I've seen earlier and later, but not often. The venue sits on the Windward Side of Oahu, and the sun goes behind the Ko'olau Mountain Range around the same time most ceremonies start. Before the sun drops behind the mountains, the venue is vibrant and the water pops. After it drops, the temperature cools and everyone is much more comfortable. The timing also works backward from your reception — the ceremony has to be early enough that there's still light for portraits, but late enough that dinner doesn't start in full sun. Your wedding planner will help you dial it all in.
Hair and makeup is tricky. Sometimes only the bride gets hair and makeup done, but sometimes it's the whole wedding party and the moms. It's the number one reason the timeline gets thrown off. Plan your hair and makeup with plenty of time to spare — when hair and makeup runs late, your whole timeline gets rushed. Tell your planner you want to make sure you're done early so you're not feeling rushed.
No problem. Just enter the time of your ceremony.
You should only use this timeline if your reception is at Pālikū Gardens. You can still play around, but it's made specifically for weddings with receptions there.
Yes — you can download or print the timeline.
I've filmed dozens of weddings at Pālikū Gardens — I know the timing, the light, and the rhythm of this venue.
